Wagon Wheels Brainstorm
Purposes: to stimulate lots of generative thinking in a very short time, to stimulate powerful thinking between people who might not know each other, to create a "vivid image bank" of a new idea in action to inform the planning process, to develop a sense of team with a common purpose.

When there’s no space for the suggested chair set-up, or when the number of people makes this complicated, I just have participants stand in two lines (with clipboards if notes are needed). When it’s time to swtich, I grab the elbow of a person at the end of one line and “soul train” with them down between the two lines, and add them to the other end of their line: Now everyone has a new partner!
