Overview

CLEE’s Principal Residency Network (PRN) is a residency-based principal certification program (PK-12), approved by the Rhode Island Department of Education, based on RIDE leadership standards. Program available in Rhode Island.

For over 20 years, PRN graduates have been prepared to immediately step into leadership roles and hit the ground running. The PRN equips graduates to foster effective collaboration in their role and build a strong community around them. Testimonials

PRN does a really good job of not making it easy, because it is actually preparing you for the job. No one is going to give you directions or a manual for exactly what you need to do. When you're in a position and you're running a school, no one is going sit down and say, ‘Congratulations! You became a principal. Here is the perfect manual and this is what you need to do and follow this script and everything will be okay.’ No, that's not going to happen. You will be challenged on your first day. This is what school leadership is.

PRN Graduate

Without PRN, I wouldn't be the leader that I am right now, and I wouldn't have my confidence to lead. My confidence is oozing out. I wouldn't have that right now if it wasn't for some of the experiences I had and the hard work I did in the program.
