Student Centered Family Meeting Protocol

The goal of an effective family meeting is to ensure that the student, parents, and teachers exchange information regarding the student's strengths, progress, or needs. The format for this student centered meeting ensures that the focus is on the student's performance in the classroom and as a member of our school's learning community. While there are rare occasions that a student's presence might impede the success of a meeting, we believe that it is essential for most conferences.
